Optimal Learning Consultancies

People are continuously developing during their entire lifetime. This is most obvious and greatly emphasized for children. However, when in transition, when confronted with choices that may impact our lives greatly (such as what subject to study, dealing with a post-graduate research environment or a career change) or when struggling with changing needs, desires and expectations, we are also in the process of developing. The environments in which we function may not necessarily be conducive, let alone fully equipped, to support our progress. For example schools often merely offer a fixed program that has little to do with individual learning needs, and one can question if children are thus supported in their development. Many professional settings are not designed to optimize personal (professional) development either. In fact they can even be limiting and constraining, particularly because the paths you may need to take, may stray too far off from what you are used to or what is expected of you. Having a partner to help bring the person back into´personal development´ may be a welcome support, helping to identify personal (professional) needs and searching for fitting alternatives for you or your child.

At Optimal Learning Consultancies I aim to support young and old in optimizing their learning trajectories, be it at (primary) school, choice of subject, or the realm of personal and professional growth. Personal guidance, tailored curriculum development, coaching  or training are possible ways in which I can help. Either way, the individual is the central figure in this process and thus forms his/her own frame of reference in change.
